[b]Exhaust system for WRX 2.0 Auto[/b]

Hello to everyone.

Can anyone here recommend me an exhaust for the above? place to fix and how much? Must be LTA compliant. but most importantly for AUTO WRX. Went everywhere and everyone say have but when it is time to fix, the workshops come up with all sort of story to say not LTA compliant yet.

Any advice?

Probably you’d wanna try asking in the WRX forums.. You’d have better luck there.. I know someone with an exhaust specially for WRX Auto and its also LTA compliant.. But i forgot what’s the name of the exhaust.. Perhaps you’d want to go down to BMS?

Tried Mann and FK a few months back, both gave me some story that this cannot and that cannot.

Seen some exhaust on some auto WRXes but i am always driving then so cannot get close enough to see the brand...

I have a friend with an auto rex. he is using HKS legal max. from BMS if im not wrong. And it is LTA compliant

Im also wondering if the exhaust can be installed in the manual rex why not the auto?

for auto wrx… u got 1 choice… which is HKS Hi silent from bms or garage R…

Yup, called a few workshops today… all said HKS but legamax not HI silent coz hi silent does not pass LTA… what about Fujitsubo or Apexi?

fujitsubo is definitely out. i guess legal max is your only option then..

heard from a friend apexi n1 is pending its approval. so far only hks legamax is for auto rex. no cat-back exhaust for auto, only muffler.

Wanted something brainless to drive and also the stock auto wrx has got stock 250bhp. More than the 2.5 manual. Tried both out, was very impressed with it so got it. Honestly, one should try it out. You will be pleasantly surprised.

their trust PE series and PE TiR (titanium) are approved by LTA for rexes. relatively affordable and sounds awesome. not sure if the approval includes auto rexes though. i'm using their PE 2 and getting good power gains on my car, albeit on a different model.
